Imagine you are in the shoes of a six year old girl. Following your normal routine everyday, you are playing on your own in the garden and out of nowhere, a naked man appears unexpectedly. The naked man approaches you and says "You are my wife - well in the future at least." And he tells you that he is a Time Traveller and that he could break the time and space continuum. What would you do? Run away and tell your mommy? Believe him or not!

Trust me, if that ever happened to me, I'd call him crazy and run for my life! But if you happen to be Claire Abshire, you would believe the whatever the stranger says and willingly wait for him to reappear now and then until you actually meet him in real time. Imagine all the torture you would have to endure just for the love of your life. Claire saved her virginity for him. Claire never committed herself to a boyfriend during high school and her schoolmates even mistook her for a dyke!

Unlike other science fiction stories, 'Time Traveller's Wife' speaks of a story about the undying love between two people, Claire and Henry, since Claire was six until she was eighty three. Claire happens to be the unlucky one to wait all the time whereas Henry just shows up everytime, but at a different age and from a different year. Sometimes, Henry goes to the future and finds out that there might just be a way to cure his genetic desease. Is there?

In short, Time Traveller's Wife is just amazing yet sweet in its own way. Once you start reading, you would not want to stop cause every page reveals the sufferings, pains and the joys that both Claire and Henry have to go through and experience every moment with them. So be prepared to cry, laugh and smile a lot while reading this amazing book.

I would recommend this book to everyone. And if you thought that the movies such as Sweet November, The Notebook and A Walk To Remember was amazing, wait till you read Time travellers wife by Audrey Niffeneger.

Trust me, the ending is very sweet and will definitely leave a huge impression on you after you are done reading. The best part is that, it lingers around in your head for a while. :)

It really made my day when I found out that this movie was getting its own release in Cinemas worldwide! I can't wait to watch, thats for sure! By the looks of the movie trailer (which you can view here), this is really turning out to be a fantastic movie.
