I officially label this as my favourite Beyonce song ever!
And I'm still listening to this song on repeat mode. Just can't get enough of it.
Taken from Songmeanings.net, this user took the words right out from my mouth. Reading his interpretation of the song.. makes me fall in love with the song even more. Because I can relate to it so well.
I just heard this song recently and I love it. It's so simple but so true. To me, it's about that guy that you thought you were in love with but through his actions you knew you could never love someone with his character. You were really upset at first and you wanted him to prove to be the guy you thought you were falling in love with but he never does. You then meet another guy who is so amazing and shows you what it is to really love someone. He just makes you smile and you can't stop. You realize that if the first guy had never messed up you would probably still be with him and would have missed out. In that sense you got lucky because "you dodged the bullet". You are actually glad that the original guy turned out the way he did. You were a beautiful and wonderful girl that would have done anything for him but he never got all of you because he messed up pretty big over and over "you turned out to be the best thing I never had. And I will always be the best thing you never had." He will always have to live with the fact that he lost you and in that essence it " bet it sucks to be you right now."

This song has been on repeat mode for the past few days.
I feel like such a loser trying to sing my heart out to this song, especially the chorus near the end, in which she belts out.. "Oh I used to want you so bad! I'm so through with that!" It's like you can feel whatever she's feeling when she's singing that song. Don't mind me. I'm like an empath. I can emote so well to songs, especially the painful ones.
Beyoncé has the song of my life at present.

Don't you just love UK acts? I am simply in LAV with their accents! Well, if you LAV Brit accents just like me, here's a new UK act for you to look out for and they go by the name of..
Stooshe.
And this is the video for their more than amazing song called, "Fuck Me".
They have what most girl acts that are lacking. These three girls are oozing so much personality since The Spice Girls and I simply LAV them. Where have they been hiding all these while?!?!
They are so spontaneous, funky and wild. And as crude as the lyrics may be, this is still a great song to dance and sing along to. (I've even tried imitating their accents.) I'm guilty of it.
They make crude lyrics sound so much fun! "Foreplay's fun but I ain't got the time, so why don't you hurry up and fuck me!"
And the Free Your Mind song reference somewhere between 2:25 is actually one of my favourite parts from the video.
Now can we just get more songs, pretty pretty fuckin' please?
P.s Any songs that has the word FUCK sounds great, don't you think so?

I really really (x100) love this song!
Her live performance of her latest single, Don't Hold Your Breath.
I was cringing at the start of the performance when the host was introducing Nicole to the audience.. when he was trying to hold his breath. Ultimate cringe-worthy please! At least he's good looking, right?!
I have massive love for this song. The beat.. the tune.. the harmony.. EVERYTHING is just so perfect. But Nicole looks like as if she just got caught in the rain and her manager must have been like, "Okay you're on in about 5 minutes!". The hair. Disaster. And the clothes? Erk. Nicole Scherzinger was more interesting when she was surrounded by 4 other pretty (and talented) girls in The Pussycat Dolls.
The song and her vocals were the only good thing about this performance
(which I enjoyed very very much!)
Here's hoping that this song gets to number one next week!

Daniel Beddingfield - If You're Not The One
The high note that he does at the end of the chorus is just amazing.
Listening to this song right now. Brings back so much memories. And some painful ones at that. This is definitely a 'slit-wrist' worthy type of song. Daniel Beddingfield, why do you make such painful music?

My Thoughts:
- The music video is approximately 7 minutes long.
- It has a not so short introduction, in which Lady Gaga gives birth to a new race.
- The actual music video starts somewhere around 2:34.
- Lady Gaga looks ridiculously skinny in the music video.
- The song is amazing in its own right.
- Whether you're lebanese, black, white or orient, you'll love the video.
- She loves to whip her hair back and forth.
- The dancing choreography kinda looks fun.
- It's quite obvious she's inspired by the whole Mugler look.
- She needs to stop promoting Satanism. (ie. Devil Horns etc)
- The video is quite scary at some parts. So don't watch it when you're alone.
- Other than that, all's good with me.
Ps. Hey Britney, Imma finish watching your music video but Lady Gaga had a better video than yo.

No. This is not going to be a vulgar post or an angsty post of some sort. Just in case you were reading the title and thinking otherwise. Anyways, this song is pretty amazing and catchy..
... and sorta a bad influence. I swear I have never said 'Fuck You' this many times in my entire life within a time span of 4 minutes. I'm an angel, trust me.
The video should definitely deserve some award for making me laugh uncontrollably. I loved especially the part when they were showing Cee-Lo as a little kid and his mom slapping him every single time he says 'Fuck You'. Now ain't that some shit?
And if you hate Cee-Lo's version (which I presume a situation to be HIGHLY UNLIKELY to happen), here's another version by CJ Baran (who is definitely more pleasing to look at)
... Quite not as epic as Cee-Lo's version but still works nevertheless. He made the song fresh! And the video is still hilarious and fun to watch tho especially the bridge at the end where he goes whining that starts ard 2:40. I don't quite get the girl's stupidity in the video. Girl, ditch the Asian boy and get on with CJ.
And if you rather much have a preference (or I'd call it a fetish, in this case) for a female's voice.. here's Eliza Doolittle.

Natasha Bedingfield - Touch

I didn't like this song when I first heard it 'cause it's not the classic Natasha Bedingfield sound (Unwritten, These words etc) that everyone adored. But then it grew on me slowly and then I'm listening to it every single day.
Natasha Bedingfield is a very talented musically and her songwriting skills are top-notch. There's just something about this song that just gets to me. Try closing your eyes and listen to this song, you'll be surprised at how visual this song is like reading a storybook.
